Fuller, Longer, Darker Lashes

LATISSE® (bimatoprost 0.03%) is a prescription treatment for sparse eyelashes. With consistent use as prescribed, it can increase lash length, thickness and darkness.

A consultation helps determine whether LATISSE® is right for you and covers proper application, possible side effects and ongoing use.

LATISSE® FAQ

How does LATISSE® help lashes look fuller?

Bimatoprost is believed to increase the number of lashes in the growth phase and how long that phase lasts. With prescribed use, lashes can become longer, thicker and darker. Your consultation at Lips and Lines + covers suitability; individual results vary.

Do I apply LATISSE® to my lower lashes too?

No. Apply it only along the upper lash line as prescribed, not to the lower lash line or directly into the eye. Use a fresh sterile applicator for each eye and discard it after use.

How long should I give LATISSE® before looking for a change?

Results build gradually. Many people do not notice a meaningful change until about two months, and the treatment was studied over 16 weeks. Use it as prescribed rather than expecting an overnight difference; individual results vary.

Can I use LATISSE® if I wear contact lenses?

Remove your lenses before application, then wait at least 15 minutes before putting them back in. Follow your prescription instructions.

How long does it take to see results?

Results develop gradually with consistent use. Treatment is typically assessed over 16 weeks, and individual results vary.

How do I apply it?

Apply once nightly to clean, makeup-free skin along the base of the upper eyelashes, using the supplied sterile applicators. Use a new applicator for each eye and blot away excess solution. Do not apply directly into the eyes or to the lower lash line.

Will using more make my lashes grow faster?

No. Extra applications do not improve growth and may increase side effects. Use only as prescribed.

What happens if I stop using Latisse®?

Your lashes gradually return to their pre-treatment appearance. Continued treatment is needed to maintain the effect.

What if I miss an application?

Resume your usual routine the next evening. Do not double the dose.

What are the possible side effects?

Possible effects include itching, redness, dryness, eyelid skin darkening and unwanted hair growth where the solution repeatedly touches surrounding skin. Changes around the eyes, including eyelid drooping or a more hollow appearance, have also been reported.

Can Latisse® change my eye colour?

Increased brown pigmentation of the iris can occur and is likely permanent. Discuss this risk with your prescriber before starting.

Available by prescription following consultation with a healthcare professional.
